Prospective graduate students who are interested in joining the Bailey Lab must first be accepted into a graduate program at OSU. Applications to the Chemistry Department will be accepted through January of each year to begin the following September. Find out more here.

The Bailey Lab is excited to welcome undergraduate researchers into our interdisciplinary lab! Undergraduate researchers have opportunities to learn small molecule and polymer synthesis, polymer characterization techniques, biomaterials preparation, and in vitro biomaterials evaluation methods.

We do not currently have openings for additional undergraduate researchers. Email Sophia to discuss openings in the group starting Summer 2026.
